Shareholder Services

Global Statement of Purpose: The ANC exists so that Shareholders have a perpetual source of land use, shared financial and cultural wealth.

ANC is part of the Alutiiq Nation, and the Alaska Native people indigenous to the Kodiak Island Archipelago, who have inhabited the Kodiak Archipelago for over 7,000 years. ANC’s shareholders are descended specifically from the village of Afognak, on Afognak Island in the northern part of the Archipelago. ANC stands strong in our core identity which is rooted in the land and sea of the Kodiak Archipelago.

Providing value back to our Shareholders through developing skills and opportunities for Shareholder’s personal success is one of the main focuses of ANC. ANC is accomplishing this by providing benefits to individual Shareholders and strengthening Ag’wanermiut “Our Community”. It is important that these two areas co-exist because by unifying Ag’wanermiut, we develop a collective strength and by providing benefits to individual Shareholders we empower every Shareholder.
