Afognak Native Corporation (Afognak) offers three scholarship programs to assist its Shareholders who desire professional and leadership skills. Available on the individual scholarship program pages are current requirements and application information.
The Afognak Benefits Trust (ABT) administers the Career Enhancement Program (CEP) which provides financial support to voting ANC Shareholders who are Native for participation in events, trainings, educational classes or courses that enhance career opportunities.
The HEP Scholarship recognizes and provides financial support to voting Afognak Shareholders who are students with demonstrated scholastic ability and who are seeking higher education in traditional universities, vocational education, or other educational programs.
The HEP 2 Scholarship is awarded for Winter and Spring terms. HEP 2 is designed to recognize and provide financial support to voting Afognak Shareholders who demonstrated scholastic ability who are pursuing higher education in traditional college, university or vocational education programs.
Funding is limited and available for voting ANC Shareholder applicants to attend athletic, scholastic, cultural, and leadership trainings, camps or events that will help the student to reach his or her goals.
Afognak supports the Alaska Native Executive Leadership Program.
