ANCHORAGE, Alaska, Sept. 11, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Afognak Commercial Group, LLC (ACG), a subsidiary of Afognak Native Corporation, has acquired a majority interest in the parent company of Weaver Bros., LLC; Doyle’s Fuel Service, LLC; and Doyle Transport LLC; an Alaska-based family of trucking, fuel, and logistics companies serving customers statewide. As a result of this investment, the parent company’s name will become Afognak-Weaver Logistics, LLC. Terms were not disclosed.
Founded in 1946 and owned by the Doyle family since 1978, Weaver Bros. provides heavy haul, fuel, and refined product transport, drayage, dry bulk, refrigerated, and specialized freight services to construction, energy, mining, retail, and government customers across Alaska. The companies will continue operating under their existing names, with James “Jimmy” Doyle remaining with the companies as President and with the same team serving customers and partners.
